A supplier wants to find B2B clients in China. The company decides to use O2O platform VectorTrade to find a solution to this task.

Step #1. Registration at the platform

The company signs up at the platform as a provider. Registration is free. Later on, the company needs to add information about itself, incoterms, as well as a catalogue with prices for wholesale purchases in Russia or China. The information must be in Chinese language to make it clear for the buyers and give them answers to all of their questions after getting familiar with the product and the company.

After all the information is submitted, the supplier goes through moderation that makes its materials available to the buyers from China. The buyers will get access to the information in their WeChat on the official account of the platform. The buyers will be able to get connected to the account at the B2B-events mentioned above.

The name of the account is Alenka来自俄罗斯的美食 (translation: Alenka from Russia). The account is created to answer the questions a buyer from China may ask, as well as help them interact with the platform closely.

Step #2. Online and offline work with buyers

Buyers are brought to O2O-platform from industry-specific B2B-events. Suppliers present samples of their products at the exposition. Managers provide buyers with all the necessary information on the presented products and the procedure of the platform operation. Specifically speaking, after getting familiar with the product, sampling, exploring the package, buyers may scan a QR-code that every product is marked with. After that, the buyer will be able to connect to Alenka account on WeChat to get more detailed information on the supplier, products, incoterms, contacts and an opportunity to connect the supplier directly. The whole procedure will be carried out in Chinese language to make the communication process the most convenient for the buyer.

Processing requests

Processing requests

Chinese buyers who have tried the product, and got the information on the supplier and prices, decide to hold negotiations on purchasing of their first batch.

Through the WeChat account the buyer can send a request to the supplier. In their account suppliers get requests from the buyers. This request can be automatically translated with the translating feature fitted into WeChat, Google Translate, or other similar services.  However, such services do not always provide high-quality translation. To avoid any mistakes and misunderstanding, it is important for you to have your own Chinese-speaking manager.

In order to help you during the negotiation process, VectorTrade-platform offers services for outsourced negotiations, where our employees from China take part in negotiations on your behalf, get engaged into close interaction with your export managers, as well as recruitment services to find Chinese-speaking specialists for your company.
